Google could preview its own take on Rabbit’s large action model concept as soon as December. (A ‘Rabbit r1’ is a small, independent, hand-held AI device). “Project Jarvis,” as it is code-named, would carry tasks out for users, including “gathering research, purchasing a product, or booking a flight,” according to current sources with direct knowledge.

The godfather of AI Geoffrey Hinton has just won the 2024 Noble Prize for physics. He was up till recently working at Google, but shockingly has left them.  Suffice it to say, Google was surprised.

Japan is building a super-fast computer, the first of its kind, which will be 1,000 times faster than any computer we have now. It will be ready to use in 2030.  It will help Japan stay ahead in developing artificial intelligence (AI).
