Over the past year, there has been much that has come out concerning the fears, rightly so, and the various concerns which as been stated about just how insidious and troublesome AI really is. Opinions and points of view have been clearly stated by many esteemed people who have tried to warn us, caution us about where AI is going and how we, as humans, need to be vigilant about overseeing a technology which is the most dangerous to have ever been created. People such as: STEPHEN HAWKING -Theoretical Physicist and Cosmologist, ANTONIO GUTERRES – Chief Executive Officer of the United Nations, ELON MUSK – Founder and Co-Founder of OpenAI, Nueralink, Space X, xAI, Tesla and X/Twitter, GEOFFREY HINTON – considered the Godfather of Modern AI, YUAN LECUN – Chief AI scientist at Meta. The list goes on and on.
People who are directly in or involved with AI and the AI industry are worried and genuinely concerned that we as humans are facing serious grave dangers unnecessarily. A situation of our humanity’s own making and one which we endure needlessly. Nobody is having a gun put to their head in having to use AI, yet we persist.
Over the last twelve months many things have happened which have keenly accelerated the threats to humanity in some serious ways. The developments and advances we thought which would take years in the making have been accelerated to weeks and months. Advances which are happening to the determent of humanity. All those developments come close to be upsetting and evil and are not in humanities best interests.
Those developments and advancements (?) range from:
These above few points are but a smattering of the issues and problems which we now come to face with AI. One would think that over time, the situation would come to be better, even more controlled, but its not. In fact, over the last year the situation concerning AI is worse. Even when we, the unsuspecting public think that the politicians have our best interest at heart, and laws come to be passed, political leadership keeps striking down the very laws and regulations which would protect us. In politics, money is the source of influence, which keeps getting proven repeatedly. All that proves to us, is, we cannot depend on politicians to protect us.
Let us take a moment to more closely consider our Human brother and sisters. Wikipedia’s definition of “Humans” is as follows:
Humans (Homo sapiens) or modern humans are the most common and widespread species of primate and the last surviving species of the genus Homo. They are great apes characterized by their hairlessness, bipedalism, and being taller. Humans have large brains, enabling more advanced cognitive skills that enable them to thrive and adapt in varied environments, develop overly complex tools, and form complex social structure and civilization. Humans are highly social with individual humans tending to belong to a multi-layered network of distinct social groups – from families and peer groups to corporations and political states. As such, social interactions between humans have established a wide variety of values, social norms, languages, and traditions (collectively termed institutions), each of which bolsters human society. Humans are also highly curious: the desire to understand and influence phenomena has motivated humanity’s development of science, technology, philosophy, mythology, religion, and other frameworks of knowledge; humans also study themselves through such domains as anthropology, social science, history, psychology, and medicine. As of 2025, there are estimated to be more than eight billion humans alive.
We are a race of beings which reigned supreme on this, our planet for thousands of years. There is no justifiable reason we should surrender that supremacy to a bunch of chips and algorithms. We are children of God, created in a distinct and unique fashion to rule over this world. There is no justifiable reason we should surrender that position for nothing and nobody. Yet, we are being carried off in a direction which threatens our very existence and our future in this world.
So let me ask you; whose side are you on? Are you on the side righteousness and the survival of humanity, or do you want some robots to take control? Do you want to be a human slave to some mechanical beings and technology while looks to rule us or take us over or even kill us? You may answer or an emotion level but do your actions, your own day-to-day actions reflect the way that you really feel? One must ask.
People are succumbing to stories and fantastic stories about some utopian world with AI. But the reality is that human sentiments are not matching their behavior. Hypocritical is the word that comes to mind.
As a member of the human family, as a person of free will and sovereign rights, we know that you should care. But do you care??
We have formed a group to oversee and protect humans and humanity everywhere. It is truly clear that the pollical class and the money class seem almost disinterested in seeing us protected or thriving. But what do you want?
Can you discipline yourself to stop using AI in all its forms and temptations? Can you ignore the lure and fantasy of looking to make money unnaturally from AI? Can you resist from circumventing the system with help from an unnatural source to get results that would otherwise come to you through demanding work?
We live in a world which demands our effort and hard work to get ahead. But when something or someone comes to you with an offer so that your ‘can beat the system’ and get what you want anyway? Understand that your own sense of pride and accomplishment will suffer. God gave you a brain to help you and make you special. Are you using your own brain to get what you want, what you can work for, or do you want an effortless way out?
Perhaps I am too old, but I remember various animated cartoons of yesteryear where the character had on their shoulders a good angel and a bad angel offering up advice. This is where the drama then comes to play out. The character then must decide which of those two influences he or she will listen to?
Many human societies condition people to become lazy. The idea of instant gratification gets conditioned into people and there then becomes an individual push to get lazy. What is now missing in society is the notion that we get what we work for. As sense of pride and accomplishment should rule, but it doesn’t. People want to take the easiest and quickest rout possible forward. In the end however we are cheating ourselves in ways which are unimaginable. Yes, it may take years to earn that PhD, but its truly yours. Nothing or no one can take that away from you. Its yours and you’ve earned it. You can be proud of what you’ve done or accomplished.
The time has come to stand strong in what it means to be human, for honest work, for accomplishments earned, and results. People gain the pride and dignity of their work. That is just as true as it was thousands of years before. Yes, years ago, men were not able to cheat the system. People had to work for what they got. Just because we have AI, does not make us better. If anything, AI diminishes us, robs us of our dignity and dumbs us down. In the end, it’s the worst possible solution which we can use. It may be easier and faster and convenient to use, but a piece of your humanity will be lost. We need as a species to grow up.
I have come to write to you now and to direct you to our organization GAIA. G.A.I.A. is the Global Artificial Intelligence Accord, is an organization which is dedicated to protecting and preserving human dignity, freedom, and safety around the world.
As a regulatory and governance body, we help to oversee and direct private, national and internation AI companies to adopt and follow policies and procedures which protect people. While we are for technology and development, all technology, everywhere, should not be allowed to dominate or control people directly or indirectly. We look to ensure that all men are safe and secure.
For now, we but ask that you join out ENTREATY, our petition on AI. It costs you nothing to let your feelings known and to show that you care about humans and humanity. https://gaia.support/entreaty is where you can find us and show that you care. If you interested in joining our organization to help in our mission, you are welcome to write us at: GAIA.OFFICE@mail.com. Thank you for your help and for caring about humanity.
